Kombucha Smoothie

It’s said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gives us the energy needed in order for us to fulfill our daily tasks well and good. However, since I was a kid, I always felt breakfast wasn’t for me. I would usually feel ill upon eating breakfast and so it has always been a challenge whenever I try to finish whatever is served in the morning. When I grew older, I learned that breakfast can be more exciting depending on how you prepare them. I learned to try preparing different dishes, breakfast staples, and even make sure they are plated neat and beautifully. This is how breakfast became fun for me. I guess though, my best go-to breakfast, is a mug or a bowl of smoothie.

Smoothies are not only so easy to make, but, trust me, they can also be intensely yummy and healthy! What I love best about making smoothies is that I can always try different ingredients and see how they work well with the fruits and the kind of milk I use. It was just lately though that I have tried making a smoothie paired with my favorite fizzy drink. Yes, Kombucha! I never really imagined how it would work as Kombucha can be fruity and tangy, so mixing it with milk was a bit… hmmm for me. I’m just so glad I tried doing it still because since then, Kombucha has been an everyday breakfast staple!

Sharing this Strawberry Rose Kombucha Smoothie Recipe, we made at home, using ingredients that are very much available in the market and of course, paired with Figgs Kombucha. We used bananas, berry flavored yogurt, almond milk, Figgs Strawberry Rose Kombucha, ice, oats and cornflakes, blended them all together and voila, breakfast is ready! It’s delicious and filling, for sure it will make your breakfast better and brighter!

Let us know how it goes for you, once you try this recipe! We hope this makes your breakfasts more exciting and fun!

Always, with Figgs Kombucha.
